U.S. OPEN Elimination Contest


Our U.S. OpEN Elimination contest, is now open for the season. Registration closes Thursday June 14th, at 7 AM EST.

The top 70 ranked players from the tournament field will be divided into 4 performance groups based on World Tour Rankings. This is a contest of skill that requires contestants to make 1 selection from each performance group.

The Contest is stroke play, meaning the aggregate score for the contestant's four golfers will determine their position relative to the other contestants. The lower the contestant's aggregate score, the higher the ranking. The Contest does not take into consideration any tournament play after regulation play has completed.

If any of the golfers selected misses the cut, the entry will be eliminated from the contest provided there are at least 3 contestants to have survived the cut. 

The top contestants, ranked from lowest to highest aggregate score, at the end of official play will be the Final Prize winners. When the Prize Fund exceeds $1,500 the payouts will be as follows:

* First Place 45%
* Second Place 25%
* Third Place 20%
* Fourth Place 10%

otherwise the Prize Fund will be

* First Place 50%
* Second Place 30%
* Third Place 20%

Should there be less than 3 contestants to have survived the cut, the prize payouts will be as follows:

2 Contestants to survive cut ... will compete for the 1st and 2nd prize payouts.
1 Contestant to survive cut ... will receive the first prize payout.

In these 2 instance those remaining contestants with 3 players to have survived the cut will compete for the remaining unclaimed prize payouts.

If an entry has a missing selection, the empty selection will be replaced by the golfer with the highest (best) ranking from the same performance group. If an entry has a golfer selected that does not start the tournament for any reason whatsoever, participants who have selected such golfer will be provided with the highest ranked eligible golfer from the same performance group.

A player who withdraws after having commenced play will not be provided with a substituted player and consequentially will be eliminated provided there are at least 3 contestants to have survived the cut.

Player selections including changes will be accepted up until the contest deadline. The presence of other players or changes in the tournament field after it has been published on our site shall in no way affect the outcome of the contest.

No responsibility will be taken for contest registrations or contestant's selections which are lost, delayed, damaged, not received properly on the web site or misdirected in any other manner in the mail or any other electronic means including the Internet.

Entry Fee: 
The entry fee for this contest is $25 Canadian and payment must be sent before start of play to participate in this contest. Failure to send payment before start of play will result in the immediate removal of all your entries from this contest.

Entries: There will be no limit of the number of entries to the Contest. Contestants may enter the Contest as many times as they wish, provided they pay the stated entry fee for each of their entries.

Any Contestant whose payment is returned unpaid will be subject to immediate loss of all entries from all Contests.

All entries become the property of the Contest Administrator and none will be returned.

There is a 10% Contest administration fee applied to the winners.

This Contest is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by the PGA Tour or any other organization.

The Contest Administrator reserves the right to disqualify any contestant or to withdraw or amend the contest at any time in its absolute discretion in case of error, technical problem or any matter interfering with the conduct of the Contest as contemplated by these rules.

The decisions of the Contest Administrator is final on all matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment. By entering this contest you acknowledge acceptance of all Contest rules and agree to be bound by them.

Users assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Contest. Users release Administrator, Contest Entities and all others associated with the development and execution of this Contest from any and all liability for damages, losses or injury resulting from participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of any prize. 

The Contest Administrator is not responsible for any typographical/other error in administration / prize announcement in connection with this Contest. Administrator and Contest Entities are not responsible for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, damaged, lost or late entries or for any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries. 

In the event of sabotage, acts of God, computer virus or other events or causes beyond Administratorís reasonable control that corrupt the integrity, administration, security or proper operation of the Contest, Administrator reserves the right to modify or terminate entry and/or cancel or suspend the Contest. 

If a tournament is cancelled, postponed, delayed or rescheduled for any reason whatsoever, Administrator may elect to cancel, postpone, delay or reschedule the Contest. Notice of cancellation will be posted at
