Monthly Pool

Our Monthly pool, is now closed for the 2012 season. If you would like to particpate in this pool next season you may sign up now.

The pool covers the following 12 tournaments :

This is a contest of skill that requires contestants to select 2 different golfers from each performance group.

Each Tournament field will be divided into performance groups based on World Tour Rankings on the Monday of the week preceding each event. A total of 8 to 10 players will be selected in each of the various tournaments depending on the size of the tournament field. 

Total Player Earnings of contestant's selection's in each tournament will determine winners. 75% of funds are paid out for the monthly tournaments and 25% will be paid out for overall season's ending winners.

Each of the 12 tournaments and year end payouts, will be as follows:

* First Place 50%
* Second Place 30%
* Third Place 20%

Player Earnings in $US currency from the PGA Tour website on the day following Tournament play will be used to determine results. This is a source believed to be reliable.

Participants will make selections for each tournament and you only can use the same player in 4 of the 12 tournaments.

You may select amateur golfers from the tournament fields where applicable. While they may not receive earnings from the tournament, you will receive in our pool the equivalent earnings based on their final position in said tournament.

In the event that a golfer withdraws prior to start of play or does not start in a tournament, participants who have selected such golfers will be provided with the highest ranked eligible golfer from the same performance group. Such selections must meet the criteria of not having being selected more than 4 times previously throughout the entire season. 

Participants who have selected a player who withdraws after having commenced play will not be provided with a substituted player.

If selections are not received in time for any tournament participants will be provided with the highest ranked eligible golfers from each performance group. Such selections will meet the criteria of not having being selected more than 4 times previously throughout the entire season.

The Tournament field will be published on the Monday preceding Tournament play. The presence of other players or changes in the Tournament field after it has been published shall in no way affect the outcome of the Tournament.

An email will be sent to each participant requesting player selections to be submitted. Selections including changes will be accepted up until 6pm EST on the day preceding start of play. It is recommended that contestants review their selections on the PGA Tour site at http://www.pgatour.com prior to the deadline.

No responsibility will be accepted for pool registrations or contestant's selections which are lost, delayed, damaged, not received properly on the web site or misdirected in any other manner in the mail or any other electronic means including the Internet. 

Entry Fee: 
The entry fee for this pool is $120 Canadian payable in 4 installments of $30 on Jan 5th, Feb 28th, April 30th and June 30th. Payment must be sent before start of play to participate in this pool.

Preferred method of payment is by an Interac E-Mail Money Transfer from your online bank account. Please send to:

Any contestant whose cheque is returned unpaid will be subject to immediate loss of all entries for such contestant from all pools. There is a 10% pool administration fee.

Entries: There will be no limit of the number of entries to the Contest. Contestants may enter the pool as many times as they wish, provided they pay the entry fee of $120 for each of their entries.

Payment (1st installment ) must be sent before start of play to participate in this pool.

All entries become the property of the Contest Administrator and none will be returned.

This pool is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by the PGA Tour or any other organization.

The Pool Administrator reserves the right to disqualify any contestant or to withdraw or amend the contest at any time in its absolute discretion in case of error, technical problem or any matter interfering with the conduct of the pool as contemplated by these rules.

The decisions of the Pool Administrator are final on all matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment. By entering this contest you acknowledge acceptance of all pool rules and agree to be bound by them.
